Ion Turcanu


Hello, my name is Ion Turcanu (as you probably noticed already).

I was born in Moldova in 1993 and I’m in Italy since 2007.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management and I’m currently a Master student in International Management (both in Ca’ Foscari University of Venice).

I am passionate about marketing, branding, digital world and every tool and concept that has the power to shape someone’s perspective.

Sep 2013 – Nov 2016 Bachelor’s in Economia Aziendale – Economics & Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. A three years Degree program in Italian and English. Final Grade : 103/110.

Sep 2008 – Jun 2013 High School Diploma, Accountant and commercial expert, I.T.C. “Luigi Einaudi”, Bassano del Grappa. A five years High School program in Italian. Final Grade : 89/100.

March 2017 – nowadays Academic Tutor, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Teaching activities for bachelor’s students. The course called ‘Computational Tools for Management’ implies resolution of problems using tools like Excel and Access .

Sep 2016 – nowadays Event Manager, Board of Directors, MARKETERs Club (marketersclub.it) Marketers Club is an Italian national association about marketing and management with 700+ members. The goal is to organize themed events , training courses and company visits, with the aim of bringing closer together companies and university.
Person in charge for organizing events, managing social media strategy, logistics and
coordination among partners, media partners and sponsors.

July 2016 – Nov 2016 Speakers Specialist, MARKETERs Festival. (marketersacademy.it/festival/) MARKETERs Festival is an innovative training and networking event for professionals, young talents and marketing enthusiasts. One day of workshops and speeches managed by 25 most famous and influential experts of national and international marketing. The event ended with a sold out of 450 participants.

Abroad work and cultural experience in Cairo (Egypt), in “Resala Nasr-City” NGOs, through AIESEC Global Citizen Programme . Volunteer activities and management of offline and online campaigns to raise awareness about environmental issues.

March 2015 – April 2015 Front Desk Supervisor, Economic Library – Ca` Foscari University of Venice. A 150 hours work program within the University Library. The main tasks: access management, information point, books outplacement.
